[SOGo] Configure Signature in Webmail

I've got SOGo 1.3.6 running on Debian Lenny. Maybe I missing something
obvious, but how can a user set his/her signature? In the preferences
window, there is a grayed out option for where to place the signature,
but I can't find anything about setting the content of the signature.

Thanks,

Ben

You have to set it in "Preferences" --> "IMAP Accounts".
Select the desired Account in the left part.
Then edit the corresponding signature by clicking on the link right of
"Signature:" in the right part.
In the upcoming frame you can type your signature, then stop editing by
clicking on "OK".
Be sure to save your new setting by pressing "Save and Close", as "OK"
is not enough!

Kind regards,

Ok, I tried it and it works great for me. But some (most?) of my users
don't get a link creating / editing the signature. It just shows
"Signature: " with no text or link after it, while for my account is has
a hyperlink to my signature. My account is not an admin. Any ideas on
what the difference is between the accounts and what I can do to let all
users created / edit their signatures?

Thanks,
Ben

Easy trick:

Change the language setting, save it, and change it back to your
preferred language.
It will work.

I did not find out yet if it is due to preferences settings from earlier
versions not being 100% compatible to 1.3.6 (rectified after saving
prefs) or if it is another problem.

Sorry to hijack the thread, but instead of reopening the same issue....

We updated from 1.3.5a where the signature link was working properly to
1.3.6 where we cannot make any changes anymore. The hyperlink does not
appear in the preferences tab anymore, not even after changing the
languages as suggested by Pascal.

Any idea how to get control back on the signature function ?

Thanks,

Dominique

Show me the content of the c_defaults column (sogo_user_profile table) for your problematic user.

Thanks,

Francis
